Wade v Wright Wade tore Wright a new one in Singapore last week. Wright put it down to feeling drained/jet lagged (poor preparation). No excuses today? Whitlock v Chisnall Whitlock took control of Chisnall last week. Same again today? Taylor v Barneveld Taylor - Pre Matchplay Final "I always told you it was the darts." "My head's right now." Played breathtaking darts to dismantle Van Gerwen. Since Matchplay, lost to Chisnall last week. Squeezed home 6-4 against Platt yesterday. Barneveld - Either brilliant or average. No bet. Van Gerwen v Nicholson Since his Matchplay mauling by Taylor, mvg hasn't looked back. Though his leg on leg stats against Whitlock in last week's Singapore final would most likely have been punished if playing Taylor in the final instead. (Easy on paper). Mvg hammered Kyle Anderson 6-0 yesterday. Nicholson is another player who's changed his darts set up. When did it come fashionable to use the term "Darts set up?" Played well in beating an out of sorts Thornton in the Matchplay. Thornton duly stormed off the stage in anger (another bad loser). Don't think Nicho waved him goodbye like he did after beating Lewis in World Cup of Darts  He averaged 102+ in his 6-1 win over Tichowitsch yesterday, but repeating his performance (75% on doubles too) against mvg is another matter? 1/4 Finals - Best of 15 Legs - 12 noon UK time.
