One bet which stands out in a big way tonight:

Andy Hamilton to hit most 180s on the night @ 8/1 with the sponsors. He's got the highest max per leg ratio from the 4 players based on their first 2 matches, no reason he should be this big that I can see

Report happyhibee July 26, 2013 9:28 PM BST

D&B - that Chandler scoreboard is faster than the 'live' pictures I'm getting off Sky Shocked
Report happyhibee July 26, 2013 9:35 PM BST
B365 is always quicker too
Report Gibberish July 26, 2013 9:37 PM BST
It's rancid innit?

Those scoreboards are handy to keep track of maximums, averages, highest checkouts etc.
Report happyhibee July 26, 2013 9:38 PM BST
Yeah thats why I use them too mate

Sky called one wrong earlier in the Lewis game saying there were 5 maxes when I was sure there were six - the scoreboard confirmed Sky were wrong Happy
Report DartsnBooze July 26, 2013 9:40 PM BST
vic's feed with animated darts is superb. A good 5 seconds ahead of sky.
Report happyhibee July 26, 2013 9:41 PM BST
Yeah think they got confused when Hamilton hit a 180 on 184
Report Gibberish July 26, 2013 9:42 PM BST
I've laid MVG at 1.13 but only got £20 taken Sad in the hope that Chiz could get a full head of steam and I agree that for him to get a couple of early legs was crucial as his head might've dropped.

He looked fired up in the last leg...unusual for him to be so animated.
Report the silverback July 26, 2013 9:43 PM BST
I think Pearson has been reading threads on here. Every time you expect him to say "something special" he pauses and desperately tries to think of another word or phrase.

Chizzy somehow managing to completely outplay MVG and be level at 5 apiece
Report Gibberish July 26, 2013 9:48 PM BST
He should've had the darts for 7-3 but somehow he snatches defeat from the jaws of 'victory' despite it being early stages.
Report Gibberish July 26, 2013 9:49 PM BST

you need to stick to the tea ffs, you're an athlete
Report DartsnBooze July 26, 2013 11:57 PM BST
LOL A very bad athlete.

I'll have you know i haven't had a tipple since i marked all day. (I love it!) 7 pdpa markers and me! @ the Warwickshire Invitational.
I got £30 for my troubles which paid for my food and drinks for the day! This came a week after my drunken exploits @ the UK Open.

Colin Osborne beat pdc world youth runner up Rick Evans 6-5 legs, after Ricky led 5-2, maybe 5-3.

Ozzy rode his luck from the 1/4's onwards, as he diced with the trap door several times. And yes, his lovely wife was there. Another lovely in attendance was Kim Huybrecht's lady cheering on her man. Unfortunately i never got to chat with her as i was marking on the opposite side of the venue. Kim played in the group of death, featuring 3 other pdc players, Nigel Heydon, Kevin Dowling, James Richardson, ex pdc Tony Randall, and 1 other.

Randall and Dowling qualified through the group - Just like this post, it was a long winded (round robin format,) where all 7 legs counted.

I only marked 130 legs throughout the day. Leaving the pro markers to do the on stage semi's & final Laugh

Time to close up and get my head down. I'll be dreaming of darts and beer!

P.S. Due to the hot conditions in the venue i'll be wearing a themed and rather loud cheap n nasty shirt tomorrow. Saving my Denis Ovens designed shirt for the big event on sunday. Love
Report DartsnBooze July 27, 2013 6:52 PM BST
Today didn't go to plan. I left my bottle of baileys in the freezer. (A total disaster) as i was rushing to be ready on time). We arrived at the venue shortly before registration closed. Heydon got drawn out first on board 1, and i drew Dukes of Hazzard on board 4.

Dukes duly eased into a 3-0 lead, and showed no mercy to leave 16 after 12 darts in the 4th leg. My final hurrah being T20, T20, 20, before Jon closed out the match on D8 for a brilliant winning performance. Heydon won through 2 rounds before falling to fellow county colleague Noel Grant.

Once both out, the driver deciding there was no point stopping, plus he wanted to get home.
Not good news for me as i intended to have a chat with "mace the ace" as well as having pics with several pro players for the forum

I guess i'll have to wait to try my luck tomorrow!

P.S. Lewis looks big to beat mvg @ 5/2
