Hi HH you ok? Fell asleep watching the NFL last night
![]() |
By:
Watched the first match mate then went to bed before second.
|
By:
Markets today are completely clueless about Wilson's 180 ability.
|
By:
I did read he was a fairly big hitter
|
By:
Lakeside debut is a bit of a worry in terms of length of match v the form player and 180s but there are still some terrific prices around on the maxes. And he likes playing Bunting.
|
By:
3/1 most maxes & 5/6 +1.5 too. My worry is in case he freezes too mate but Bunting usually gives you chances with his doubles so fingers crossed
|
By:
Lost on Cinci, got it back on unders. Still no ping pong markets. Thanks for writeups, now let's win some darts.
|
By:
You watch 2nd game Lori last night? Has the ping pong actually brought in any decent players yet or is it still Mr Chow and 67 yr old pensioners/
|
By:
How does Ping Pong differ from Table Tennis?
|
By:
I lost on Bungles last night to Lori
|
By:
Lori is our resident ping pong expert so I'll leave that question to him
|
By:
Watched until it was obvious it was over, middle 3rd Quarter.
Nilsson worded it best by saying "They use 30 year old bats" (Basically all the technology is taken from the bat to slow it down) |
By:
I just want to see how the woman can be competetive. I'm assuming it's Lance Armstrong in a dress.
|
By:
So basically thats the only difference?
|
By:
Think the bat is a bit bigger or something too. Oh and you can use a two point ball once per something
|
By:
Sandpaper bats they just said/ Bats seem bigger too
|
By:
is barry Hearn behind this in all seriousness?
|
By:
Matchroom Sport - is there anything Hearn doesnt have his snoot into?
|
By:
Apparently real table tennis you just win on serve or first hit return, while this they keep bigging up the huge amount of strategy involved.
And yes, it's Hearn, I read somewhere that he admitted he had no clue what he was getting into, ill try to find it. |
By:
I've found it pretty boring I have to admit, and I've given it a good go.
|
By:
Fair play to him his company though for getting it on the map

|
By:
He will try anything to make a few quid. I somehow can't see this taking off like darts though
|
By:
Looks like the same place they have the Mosconi Cup
|
By:
It's the Ally Pally!
|
By:
Maybe he can put ten betfair traders in a line and watch them trade a darts match and eliminate on every few legs.
|
By:
Ha ha ha ha

OT: Criket - Where i am contacting at the minute i speak to a lot of Indians and they are cricket mad. They do however agree the ODI and 20/20 is farcical compared to Test. Why then do you see Indian games packed out for one dayers and not tests?
|
By:
Because, unless you're a cricketer or a real oldschool fan, most test matches are p*ss boring.
The really good ones are REALLY REALLY good, but on average they're dull as hell. |
By:
I'm sure when I was growing up Ping Pong was perceived as being like table tennis but you had to bounce your ball on your side of the table every shot. Never played it, but is that complete nonsense then?
Those bats from when I was growing up are certainly 30 years old. |
By:
Watching this ping pong, I just find I drift off and suddenly there's been loads of points while I was staring at the wall.
|
By:
|
By:
Must admit silverback, I know the same as everyone else now!
|
By:
I like them too fwiw Leemo but we're in a huge minority.
My other half actually likes T20, she can bear an ODI and she won't sit in the room for a test. |
By:
no line judges?
|
By:
The athelticism?
There was a 67 year old man won a set/game/ponger/whatever yesterday ffs. |
By:
BBC on at 1pm today I take it?
|
By:
1255 yeah
|
By:
On now!
