Chisnall to sort out his doubles issues and take Jelle. Tough 1 for Caven after his meltdown live on tv, shocking 82 average wont bother Anderson to much.

Possible Taylor v Nicholson 1/4 final Grin
Report DartsnBooze July 25, 2011 11:19 AM BST
Match prices are up for Euro Champs Darts.

First round:

Justin Pipe @ 12/5 to beat Paul Nicholson is incredible value over the short format - best of 11 legs - no tie break.

Justin Pipe to beat Paul Nicholson @ 12/5 vc 1.5pts
Co Stompe to beat Merv King @ 1/1 SJ 1pts

Outright: Wes Newton @ 16/1 Sky/Gen 0.5pts
Outright: Gary Anderson @ 7/1 Gen 1pts

Matchplay onwards P&L
Day 9: Matchplay Final +0.45pts
Overall + 5.437pts

Swerving Phil Taylor due to the schedule of 1/4's, semi & final being played on the same day when it becomes a bit of an endurance test. Time will tell.

Only 3 days to go. Well done ITV4 for putting this on for us Dart nuts Happy

Remember her asking Manley if Barney was any good

And Manley looks at her and just says 'er yes, he is the World Champion'Cry
Report Ashley_Young July 28, 2011 1:18 AM BST
Backing Wade on the outright again. Got his wipping boys Lewis and Barney in there Newton may pose a threat but i'll still take Wade's experience to beat him.
Report the silverback July 28, 2011 9:48 AM BST
Wright and Pipe's chances v Part and Nicholson are both seriously under-rated. Want some handicap prices if possible to remove the propsect of being done in by losing the throw in first to six. Such a big factor. Plenty of money for Huybrechts, like the look of that one as well. Should prob be fav. Big prices have gone unfortunately.
Report itfc July 28, 2011 1:50 PM BST
Totally put off  by the 4-0 head to head for Nicholson over Pipe

May regret it...
Report DartsnBooze July 28, 2011 2:53 PM BST
Very true Silverback, winning the throw is a big advantage in a race to 6. I've also looked at backing on the handicap. Will probably stick with Specials markets for majority of the 1st round.

PLAYER HEAD TO HEAD: Paul Nicholson 4 Justin Pipe 0

27-Mar-2011 PDPA Players Championship UK Paul Nicholson    6-4 Justin Pipe    Semi Final
04-Sep-2010 PDPA Players Championship UK Paul Nicholson    6-5 Justin Pipe    Last 128
07-Mar-2010 PDPA Players Championship Germany Nicholson 6-3 Justin Pipe Last 64
14-Jun-2009 PDPA Players Championship UK Paul Nicholson    6-3 Justin Pipe    Last 16

Matchplay stats for Pipe & Nicholson:

93.46 Justin Pipe 10-6  Merv King 84.22
99.41 Wes Newton 13-8  Justin Pipe 96.24

95.89 Paul Nicholson 12-10 Colin Osborne 95.86
95.67 Raymond van Barneveld 13-9 Paul Nicholson 92.35

Hadn't clocked the H2H there. Wouldn't like to say how meaningful or otherwise it is.

Pipe seems to me to be gaining in confidence on the big stage every time he plays. And I think the market under-rates him because of how he throws, the time he takes to throw and, controversial maybe, how he looks. And of course the fact he's still fairly unknown.
Report Nilsson Schmilsson July 28, 2011 3:19 PM BST
wrights chances underrated LaughLaughLaugh

if they're judged at over 1%  then they are massively overrating them Cool

Report Lumberg July 28, 2011 4:10 PM BST
Think Mark Walsh is worth an ew bet at 80/1 for this. He's made the quarters in all 3 previous Euro Champs, twice beaten by Taylor in the q/final and other time beaten by Beaton who was runner-up. He's drawn on opposite side to Taylor and has been playing well. This is a tournament where you get a lowe ranked player make the final (W Jones and S Beaton in last 2 years)
