This is potentially the game that will decide who finishes bottom. But inclement weather may not allow a game at all. There is therefore no need to do any research on the game. But keep an eye on the bottom finish market. Srilanka will shorten in case of a washout due to their mega horrible NRR.

How to play: Wait for the pictures tomorrow. Players on the field and covers off might shorten YES. When that happens, lump on NO with everything you got. I will be here to guide you further through the rest of the game after that.

Expected Result: No Result.

Be careful with this, always wise to know the rules

What happens if it rains? Are there reserve days

There are reserve days only for the semi-final and final. If the game is interrupted on the scheduled day, it will continue on the reserve day, and not begin afresh. There are no reserve days for the group games, but extra time has been allotted. A match can go on for 75 minutes past the scheduled close of play and, in some circumstances, the match referee can extend play by a further hour beyond that. Both sides need to have batted for at least 20 overs each to constitute a full game. Otherwise, as per usual ODI rules, the match ends in a no-result.

14.28 overs per hour is what they use for calculations

Most people will be betting thinking it's the standard hour. It's 75 mins + a discretionary 60 mins. Could be a gubbing of NO on the cards?

Second Session 14.30-18.00

Effectively play til 8.15pm!!
By:

Scheduled close of play is calculated as 3.5 hours, a 45 min break, and then another 3.5 hours, right?

So they add another 75 minutes for a delay(And I am assuming after a delay of 75 mins we also start losing overs? And is that at the rate of 14.28 overs per hour?)

And on top of those 75 min, the match referee can give them another hour, or not, if he feels like it?

Is my understanding correct?

They probably need to start a game at 5pm latest
By:

Scheduled close of play 18:15
+75 min take it to 19:00
Add another hour from the match referee and it gets to 20:00

If its one of those drizzles we had in the warmup games it clearly is a washout.

1815 + 75 mins is 1930 + 60 = 2030
