England need to find a way to bat in bowling conditions. They can't do it in Tests and it appears they struggle in ODIs too.

Not over yet I suppose but England still look ragged abroad on the whole. Good job the World Cup is at home. Another one just bit the dust.

2 game competition for england in the summer. given the format they're nailed on to finish in the top 2. not likely to anything with real pace and bounce in england but let's hope they don't get put in on a tired old surface when it really matters

England need at least two bowlers with an x-factor. Right now they have none.

They also need a batsman who has the ability to dig his team out of trouble without hitting boundaries. Someone that can play under pressure.

Otherwise England's campaign might come to an abrupt halt when they meet a half decent side on a tough surface. Exactly what happened in the CT.

They won't be getting flat tracks in the world cup as ICC takes over pitch preparation for the World Cups and there's no reason why they would prepare the ridiculous flat tracks that England seem to excel on.
