Nothing to see here.
NZ are gun at home, especially against a team as spineless as Bangladesh.
Expect lots of wafts, hooks, fends and very very poor dismissals.
All draws in recent times have been rain affected and this test looks a cert to be 450 overs (though they won't be required).
Weather looks to be warm & sunny so if the deck bakes quickly then there could be a few opps throughout the test.
I will tread carefully though as Bangla lose a lot of balance without Shakib & Mushy is 50/50 at time of writing too.

I'm sure at some point I will be drawn in by a massive draw price!! Especially in NZ where the decks don't deteriorate and in fact play better as the games goes on.

You forgot to put "1st Test" in the title!

Assumption makers have been shafted on tests lately.   More of the same?

CS - it seems difficult to make a case for Bangladesh, but then that was also the case for SL in SA and I got burned there big time.

It's rarely a good idea to back short odds in Test cricket. Over five days you're quite likely to get into your preferred position for a brown-trouser discount at some point so why be impatient?

THis looks a foregone conclusion. I hope Bangla can make a match of it.

Forecast looks very good so no weather issues either.

Long term that might be great for trading opportunities but I'm certainly not laying NZ at this stage knowing what can happen 1st session down there.

NZ could have Bangers 5 down in 1/2 an hour.

Good thinking. No value in the 1.16 to back, better see what happens first. I do remember the Bangladesh 600 odd after being put in in Wellington a few years ago on a really green deck. Now I do not think they are going to do it again but 1.16 is too skinny for me.

595/8 to be precise but if you had backed NZ at the 1.30 pre match you would have been feeling a lot of pain.

I didn't get anything out of my prematch bets. Current position is 260 red on NZ. I thought this game started tomorrow

My link is way ahead of the one CS posted.

The link i shared is sometimes even ahead of betfair reaction. I once backed the bowling team after listening on the radio and odds obliged a few seconds later.

bangers wint be shortening much from here. Pretty soon the draw should start rewarding draw backers. Hopefully NZ don't spoil the party
