Pitch has settled down now....but I'm audio only, literally never watched a ball bowled

Obviously he was going to come out to bat, his legs are working fine and all he needs to do is stand out there and play with one hand. I was expecting an overnight announcement to affect the market but that never came.
He should have done that first innings

another extraordinary test match..another massively overrated side(much like another which name escapes me..believe they may have been playing yesterday iirc) getting owned by a disrespected, maligned side which has displayed cojones inversely proportional to their perceived standinggo Lankans..awesome display
Saffers have a somewhat dodgy batting line up which they didn't bother reinforcing with a 6th specialist batsman. I mean, you can see why they felt they had to play all their bowlers first test (they'd have had to leave out Olivier after an utter breakthrough series, I guess) but Philander is a good option at 8, not a realistic number 7 and they just had far more bowling than they needed. The extra batsman would have been much more useful and I knew that in prospect too, not just in retrospect. Even so, astonishing how easily the Lankans have wrapped up their tail almost every time and even more so how well their batters have done.

Nope, as I’ve said before, as English as drinking 12 cups of tea a day and tutting at disaster.
