Playing in an indoor cricket venue? 180+ expected.
Got the innings 181.5, run differential 5.5 in Indias favour.

don't know what NZ are doing with Kuggeleijn, doesn't seem good enough for this level and is a controversial pick.

11 of the 20 overs went for 11+, so it has to be right up there. That is consistent. Outside one batsmen, lowest SR was 172. All things being equal, it should be well chaseable.

Sick beat, kept backing India to 30s etc. Won on 205 runs but really thought they would win that

Sorry to hear that jucel, although I’m glad Kiwis won as after a horrible day of football losses yesterday, totalling near £7k, went a bit on tilt with this when I saw India 6/1 chasing billions and backed Kiwi at 1.36 for a grand and just kept going up to evens to a total of £4k. Pant’s innings terrified me and having backed in almost all the wrong places, didn’t trade at all. Thank God for dot dot’s 2 from 4 balls. I don’t buy that well over 200 should be 1.5 or so to chase even on a shirtfront with under 13 boundaries.

It was because the batsman was standing on the wide line, if it’s the one I’m thinking of.

FS did ok overall but that would have been a massive win for me . Backed 205 in the first inns at 4.1 so I was well ahead when I started backing India.
Minuscule win overall but could have been huge!
India had a lot of power at the back end and that's the sort of bet I like at long odds

What price did you get on? I did look at the Indian batting line up and recognise an awful lot of power in it but they’re clearly not half the side without Kohli and dot, dot is a significant disadvantage chasing anything steep these days. Without him and Rohit’s innings could have been a sensational chase though. Just wish I’d traded it rather than stuck as could have seen much more green for rather less red if I had. Trying not to over trade though and it was an over £2k win so can’t complain at all.

It’s not generally true to say you couldn’t have lost money trading a game, as it’s always perfectly possible but this did present a lot of opportunity.
