I resolved that I wouldn’t go over £2k exposure in play on a game I wasn’t watching after losing £5k in the second test but I was watching this one as SA fell apart and really felt the draw offered a lot of value at that stage. Even just one plausible partnership from the tail and lasting out the day should have seen the draw right down and it just looked such a decent track, I even had hopes that Pakistan might get to something like 30/0 by lunch today, responding to 330. That felt like a draw price of 6s or 7s then and clover.

Scoring too fast, as I say but it’s not something I’m complaining about as long as they don’t get out and if they do, better if it’s for enough runs that SA not in a dominant position.
