shocking session from saffers

FFS, another bad shot. Can’t really blame the tailenders or QdK so much but the top order was woeful.
|
By:
wtf?
|
By:
7 wickets in 19 overs
|
By:
didnt i leave at something like 225 for 3?
Sadly my SA lays didnt get matched. Which means I am into red territory. |
By:
My 500 draw back did have a downside after all!
|
By:
Pak 3 down, draw at 70 by close.
Comms were talking about reverse swing a bit that session but I didn’t really see much go off the straight. No denying they bowled tight but the same kind of bowling could quite easily have realised 1/50 off 20 overs instead if the batting had been solid. |
By:
Would have clover if my 3k SA lay had gotten matched but I was too greedy.
|
By:
De Breyn’s missing a straight one opened the door and they all just hysterically ran through it.
|
By:
ive got rid of my red as dont trust Pak but left green on them so behingd the sofa for 10 overs

|
By:
not good.what was i thinking?Pak could dig out 10 overs,im not even p1ssed
|
By:
If Imam was to keep the strike the whole time, what was the point of the nightwatchman?
|
By:
all that and saffers back to 1.2
im off to get some supplies |
By:
laid most of my draw off at 11.5 when I saw the ball reversing & I was tired too.
Still going to lose a bit but better than a complete wipeout |
By:
After a massive win on the last Aus test, I've been losing more than the NHS in recent days.

Post brexit that could be a deposit on a starter home for the kids.

Taken half an hour without a wicket for any real movement in the market and draw still at 30s. Market belief in SA this game has been near absolute.
Pecker, we’ll have devaluation then hyperinflation after Brexit so 5 grand will be like 5p. |
By:
More than an hour of no wickets and not many runs and draw basically at the price it closed at last night. Normally that’s the kind of thing that crashes it like a lead balloon. NWM out now, sadly.

By:
nothing moves safa price up

This has been a deeply worrying series for draw trading. It’s not so much that I’m quite likely losing £8k this game to go to about £15k the series (although not surprisingly that’s a little disappointing) though as how the markets have behaved. Spells of obdurate batting, not there have been very many of them or lasting that long, mainly, just haven’t brought the draw in. It’s been draw spikes on wicket then basically stays there until next wicket. Even this morning with NWM and batsman batting beyond an hour, fine with quite a few alarms but still, no wicket and not very many runs either, the draw came down from 40 or so to about 30 then bobbled about and even came back up a bit. Sure, SA price did move but even then not all that much, especially considering that they only got a low score themselves. Usually you get big draw moves from a couple of overs of no action first up, let alone an hour!

Think I made a few hundred on the first game, didn't bet on the second and will be losing 2k on this.
Feel like I've been lucky. I'm making a conscious effort not to bet or very small stakes in certain countries. Safferland, SL & Eng for tests are on my NO NO list at present |
By:
I would prefer them to be doing this slower but at least they are scoring runs and not getting out, for now.
Currently: SA £7.9k red Pak £6.1k red Draw £138k green Still a decent track I think it’s reasonable to expect some runs on but don’t like the variable bounce much. Charmed life being led by Safraz here. |

NZ is still the daddy, wish there were more tests there & Aus has been good to me over the years even though I had a couple of heavy spankings at the start of the series.
UAE & India are steady & WI has enough rain to keep it interesting. Bangla used to be lovely but they've been producing filth in recent times Zim can be a brucey bonus at times, again not many tests there |
