The lasses will be at it later in the wbb but for now this is where the action is.
Report Cardinal Scott January 7, 2019 9:25 PM GMT
No high scores in last few ODIs that were played here.

"It's bright and sunny at the Saxton Oval and the pitch is expected to be dry and good for batting."
Report Cardinal Scott January 7, 2019 9:26 PM GMT
My preference is for NZ to bat 1st
Report Cardinal Scott January 7, 2019 9:29 PM GMT
Toss imminent!
Report Cardinal Scott January 7, 2019 9:32 PM GMT
Lanka may have won toss in this dead rubber.
Report Cardinal Scott January 7, 2019 9:33 PM GMT
Lanka put NZ in!....not sure if that is worth a drift myself, I'm getting on them.

KW: "We were going to have a bowl. Looks like a fair surface. Usually it does a bit for the seamers here, so hopefully we will get some runs. We have made one change. Lockie comes in for Trent Boult."

Chanders if he keeps getting picked is gonna make a score somewhere but he is the pits.

"Pitch report: There will be a bit more pace than is usual on this surface. There's an even covering of grass - a bit more tinge of green than is customary, so the pitch may just hold up. You don't want to be bowling too full. Variations and some bounce might work better. There is a possibility to get some reverse swing."
Report Cardinal Scott January 7, 2019 9:46 PM GMT
The line is 320 ....seems high for here.

Taken over 320, aint had a bet since the 1st winner of series.

Not so confident this time, its probs a back to lay bet.

Report Cardinal Scott January 8, 2019 12:52 AM GMT
OK my fresh exit is 1.17 NZ as with Dicky & Thisara anything is possible in the chase.
Report Cardinal Scott January 8, 2019 1:01 AM GMT
Decent strike rate for Roscoe is that him playing very well or is it a lovely deck is the question.
Report jucel69 January 8, 2019 1:23 AM GMT
Malinga should be retired, been desperate for a long time now.
Is Perera injured, only bowled 2 overs

Looking down the barrel of a 5k loss here

There is some hope, Lanka are packed with hitters and some of them are in form.

Looked tricky for the first 10 then has flattened out. Hardly a ball has deviated/beat the bat.

Lumpy aka Sanath Jayasuriya Laugh

Just felt dodgy to watch, sometimes you get a feeling it's being done on purpose.

Report jucel69 January 8, 2019 2:18 AM GMT
I've still not got over Mathews going off injured with a bad hammy and then not batting again.
One of the angriest I've been watching test cricket.
I always use Steve Waugh or Graeme Smith as a barometer for 'proper, tough' test cricketers

Smart start by Lanka, too bad I never layed the 1.06 Mischief

That is Dicky all over, has a problem going on...but he has done OK again.

Again the 3rd ump going on the light of the bails rather than when they are removed.
I think that should be the rule tbf but it isn't. Both bails must be out of both grooves

It's one or both bails completely out of the grooves, just checked
