I hopped on the draw at 11 (recreational mode)

Draw backers (me included) unhappy with this start.

Had some nice initial trades on the draw between 11 and 12 but left green on it and the market’s low expectations of Pak surviving the new ball burst have been justified, irritatingly.

By comparison with a normal test match market it’s like this game started with 2-3 wickets already down.

So now 4-5 down!

Actually 3 wickets down, market behaving like it’s 5 or 6 with draw mid to high 20s. I’m being ruined here, already nearly £5k in.  My comedy draw is £77k.

Never seen anything like this. Yes, they’re 3 down but somewhat of a recovery and draw still mid 20s, although a lump at 26 has finally gone. Currently £81k draw green.

Not that I’ve been happy with any of the wickets but the fourth wasn’t very good for me. Have gone up to £93k draw green now for £5.25k result red.

One wicket I should have backed the draw after, I didn’t.

I have needlessly frittered away spare cash too backing the draw!

Hell of a stubborn draw: mid 40s on 5th wicket; came down to mid 30s, now back up again despite more runs.

Partnership building here now but a long way back for Pakistan and draw backers!

Good while it lasted, although not actually very good. Market has had near total belief in SA attack all along.

Sarfraz receives alot of stick around here but he is attempting to save us draw backers.

I’m nominally not actually that badly placed if the draw reaches the high teens. Way to go yet though.

Now we see why he receives stick!

Seems to have been quite a good bet, to me.

It was simply a 1k lump on SA after toss. Woke up three hours later and cashed out. Then they had that partnership bw Amir and skipper and lumped again. By the time i woke up for lunch, Pak were 9 down. Happy days. I started the game with a 100 red on all outcomes.

Wanted to lump for the third time at 1.1 after first wicket but then I told myself pro traders don't waste their time backing 1.1. So i moved my back to 1.11. But that never got matched.

Not much to see here, is there?

No there is no trading to be done now.....although I had NZ Lanka 1st test in the same vein and look what happened there.

Can only hope but this isn’t NZ. Currently over £100k draw green. If it ends up drawn I’ll probably still have £10k of that on. To be fair, an even slightly decent start to the Pak second innings at least ought to tumble the draw to the high 20s.

Cricbuzz and comm already talking about the extra bounce.

Done some low risk trading to get my comedy draw green up and my result red down today but as low risk, also fairly low return so still in a terrible state overall. The thought of the draw making it down to at least a couple of thousand of my lays is rather less outlandish than at the end of day one, let alone early day 2, at least.
