Interesting comments from former Somerset chairman Andy Nash that the counties could break away from the ECB similar to Footballs Premier League to control their own destiny.
You cant blame them if they did. The new ECB  chairman Colin Graves seems hell bent on introducing the 100 ball a side tournament despite it being a an unneccessary joke  competition. The counties must  also have an eye on the developing franchises for this comp and a possible agenda to reduce county cricket. Personally I think Graves is the wrong man to lead English cricket and his background as Chairman of Costcutters gives me no confidence what so ever.

if they marketed the T20 properly as a condensed tournament bang bang bang through the school holidays and made the tickets affordable then trust me they would achieve the "holy grail" ie attract a younger audience

even more so if its on terrestrial TV

don't need any 100 ball crap like they are spouting
