Maybe have a few fist fights for good measure, possibly involving some of the players who were out for a duck?

I assume they have coaches, psychologists and support staff covering just about everything us mere mortals can think of, but clearly that didn't help them in the first innings.

just shows how well they played in Oz to end up with nil and if they did go on the lash maybe they would watch the ball more closely and concentrate on keeping their wicket.

Not saying they weren’t utter rubbish but the majority of our batting has been awful for ages, bailed out at home by the excellence of Root, some decent showings from Cook and our very strong lower middle order and rarely other than poor away from home. We’ve shuffled the top order several times and everyone we bring in is p1ss awful too. When did we last have a debutant specialist bat go on to cement a place as a decent player? I think it’s as far back as Root.

Surely there's scope for a big booze-up now after that catastrophic defeat in 2 days and an 81 all out for good measure, as opposed to perhaps practicing playing spin bowling and treating a delivery on its merits?
