I really fancy India for this, despite the different conditions to home. I reckon this is the best allround India team for quite a while, and Pak are in transition and not that good IMO.

Forecast to be cloudy after lunch and Pak's best chance is to bowl 2nd.

Was a bit surprised to see Pak as short as 3s for this as agree with you, pxb, the teams look a fair way apart in merit. Always feels rubbish backing a side at short odds for a trade though, so not sure what my play is yet.

I've Lumped the 1.5 India that looks a value bet, I've also lumped the Windies at 1.27 v Afghanistan that stars at 00.30 both superficially look good bets

When the market was first introduced, I regularly got better odds than that. I was trading so much, I had to put a limit on my max liability. But then people caught on.

I dont know the numbers but don't Pakistan have a good record playing in England? They won the T20 WC there too. Then they are due a win against India. And England don't play that well in England.

Gone with India at 1.57 and got most of my lay of India to win the toss matched at 1.99 (and only a tiny bit of my lay of Pakistan to do so at same price). I am such a pro.

Indian batting against Pakistani bowling could be a fair fight, although on a good track I suspect it won't be but can't see Pakistani batting against Indian bowling going well for the batting side.

I love this post: trying to say that a side that does well in England is bad in England but accidentally saying the side that does best in England is bad in England instead. Almost as heroic as my £7k loss on the CL final last night.

Get rid of the football betting, more like. I've done well on match odds recently, although the rain in NZ Aus was a savage blow.

The irony is, the toss betting is to increase volume for PC mitigation but I've lost so much money last few weeks that there's no immediate need to mitigate it at all and what's actually happened is I've only won so far.

Personally think the reported recent change is probably just statistical noise and true chasing percentages are about 50 in both formats.
