47 overs left, could England skittle them in overcast conditions?
Could do. Not at all impossible to take 9 wickets in 40 odd overs but one remotely sensible partnership and it's over, even if they get all the time in. Grant sweating? I'd cash some of it out Grant.

1 wicket and the market will pannic.
Think it will need a couple for real panic. With the amount of time left a wicket in next couple of overs is no more than par for bowling them out from the resumption. Plus it may rain again and won't get the full 47 overs in anyway.

Lucky eacape for England here. SL would have chased this down given the time!
I very much doubt it, neither side could win and but for the weather, England would have scored 300 at least 2nd time around, Sri Lanka collapsed 1st innings and would have done so again at some point.
