Anyone know the latest start to get 20 overs a side in?
I assume there is no reserve day. |
By:
could have moved this match to a sunday for a day night match, ecb never think ahead
|
By:
Weather permitting, Alex Hales told he definitely plays.

could have moved this match to a sunday for a day night match, ecb never think ahead
except the fact that if the 20/20 finals day had been rained off yesterday, Anderson, Bell, Woakes, Buttler would have not been available today ! |
By:
it would have been a 2 hour dre for those players and they could have played sunday, even sri lanka changed venue for a one day match against pakistan cause a rain it can be done
|
By:
It just shows how little faith people have in the accuracy of the met office's forecasts when despite them saying there will be non-stop rain in Bristol for 22 hours from 11pm Sunday and especially heavy rain from 7am-7pm Monday, the price on it being dry enough to have a result in this match is only 7/2.

Indeed, would take the forecast being drastically wrong to get a CM.
And that isn't going to happen. |
By:
what is Bristol like as a town/city?
|
By:
I would love to visit the UK one day, so much to do, so much history
|
By:
bristol is quite life not busy like london
|
By:
CMM: Yes 5.10 v 1.20 No
|
By:
switch your attention to Zimbabwe V Australia....since there will probably be no betting activity on this game
|
By:
should have moved this match to another venue really
|
By:
only need 20 overs to constitute a game............
|
By:
they need 2 x 20 overs. so thats 3 hours without rain.
|
By:
Hours of play (local time) 10.30 start, First Session 10.30-14.00, Interval 14.00-14.45, Second Session 14.45-18.15
|
By:
reading the weather reports, it seems like most of the rain will go away after 4pm.....better to back the team batting 2nd if there is a match on
|
By:
personally think there will be some action today, should be a rain reduced game..........
|
By:
Greened up on the CM market as I will be out for a few hours.
WCE, we may get some play but 3 hours looks remote. Slim possibility of 20 overs early, then 20 late. Most likely pitch is waterlogged and the umps call it off around 3. |
By:
any idea if the drainage of the grounds are good at Bristol?
|
By:
No floodlights either. The radar looks pretty grim to be fair
|
By:
3.47pm cut off
|
By:
heavy rain due in the next hour 30mm. Looks like game over to me
|
By:
concur, was never going to happen.
|
By:
i've only just got out of bed, is no completed match free money lads?
|
By:
completely free, live 20 miles from Bristol. Solid clouds and rain. No let up. Ground will be saturated even if rain stops. Had all the money I can muster at 1.1
|
By:
Will collapse to 1.04 by 12.00 I reckon
|
By:
Thanks Tony - i'm gonna lump on
|
By:
Should be an easy 50 quid for me hopefully
|
By:
GL Liam
|
By:
out to 1.13 now
|
By:
sorry, hard to understand.
|
By:
People seem to assume that when it stops raining play begins... At least two hours of mopping, then light issue. Frankly a 1.03 price is about right
|
By:
Rain clearing around 3-4pm, with showery rain to follow, is the forecast
|
By:
if 3.47pm is the cut off point, it might be called off before it clears
|
By:
it, isn't going to clear, followed by showery rain and with the cut off time at 3.47pm, I reckon it will be called off around 2.00pm
|
By:
Clearance seems to moving quite quickly up the Bristol Channel, so whislt still very poorly, I'm not sure this one is completely dead just yet.
|
By:
finally coming in
|
By:
not a bad guess 1.04 by 12.0, six minutes out
|
