Backed SL at the start of their innings but you have to say Indian backers simply read the factors in this chase a lot better. Well done Indian backers for taking what looked to me like a short price but they just read this game a lot better. Not a result based opinion.

The market had moved so much before the D/L became available, at least to me. I became a little stubborn, then it crashed more quickly after...

A lesson learned as i entered the market at totally the wrong time....also...

Moving on now....cheers all..

How do you look at things Stevie when you win lets say £,3000 and then lose it. Do you think your evens and money is just for betting anyway or do you think what you could have done with your winnings outside of gambling.

No need to answer if you don't want to. Always just curious about the psycology of other gamblers.

I would personally say money management is the most important thing in gambling. Read an article once about Harry Findley winning millions by the end of one world cup following a series of special bets but by his own admission he was one bet away from being broke.

i am an extremely lazy individual.  i work for an insurance company investigating high cost claims, a morally reprehensible job.  i have a law degree but didn't have the get up and go to succeed in it.  my philosophy on gambling in the early days was to become rich, i don't think this will change.  most gamblers would never stop at a few grand, i've had 54k in my betfair account before and lost it.  thats why i limit my spending on this vice now.

hope this was an honest answer Laugh

essentially what i am saying is i wouldn't stop and consider what i could do with the money unless i had a substantial amount.
