I believe he may have a had a few 1.01-1.03 shots come in. But in a perverse way his uncanny ability to get it wrong is not to be taken lightly. Give that he generally calls 1.25-1.3 shots he should be right 3 time out of 4 - just to break even. He seems manage to be wrong 3 times out 4. This is incredibly hard to do

Yeah, it really is an amazing ability he has. Never seen anything like it. His books must look amazing after the inevitable switch, then switch back, then switch again all as losing trades.
I think where he gets confused is that because his book looks like a team is 1.01-1.03 ie liability 30-100 times potential profit no matter the odds, that he equates that to a teams chance of winning. Morse. The odds being traded at are closer to the chance of the team winning, not how bad your book looks. But keep coming back. It is rather amusing, in a sad laugh at the handicapped kind of way.  |
