Sussex still without Luke Wright through injury, Matt Prior unavailable and Rana Naved replaced by the appalling Wayne Parnell. Chris Nash has twice had to leave the field recently after receiving fearful blows at short leg, and it's noticeable how his fantastic form with bat and ball has suddenly vanished. Worth noting that Sussex visited Scarborough on Sunday with the same situation: Yorkshire out of the competition, nothing to play for and half their side rested/injured. Yorkshire 302 for 4 beat Sussex 267 by 35 runs One positive for Sussex from that result is confirmation that Yardy looks right back to his best, especially with the bat. Despite listing all these negatives against Sussex, they are still fundamentally a Div.1 county needing a win at home to a Div.2 mob with nothing to play for, so I'd want a price pretty close to 3.0 before backing Kent. |

Wouldn't be that concerned Lix they can play through the miserly stuff at this level. Main concern would be weather just developing through the afternoon evening which is expected atm.
