Latalomne and Cheerful were generally worth listening to back in the day as well.

Mushtaq writes more sense about cricket in a two line post than you get in most 30 page match threads.

And Riccardo, hopefully, will be around more once we get back to 'proper' cricket.

Still a fair few good people around in my opinion - just that the idiot quota has increased faster than Sreesanth's economy rate in recent years, so their influence and output has, regrettably, waned.

Bigjoe has as much right to post as anybody else. He comes across as a nice guy and is green on his betting book.

lol i particularly remember one fred where a few of us were reminiscing about garry sobers. he piled in and within 5 posts had turned it into a discussion about the deficiencies of the current indian middle order. and he did this to every fcking fred that was going on the phorum.

of course anyone can post whatever they like on here within the t's & c's, but if they do what he did then others will vote with their feet, as many did.

Knowing Joe I very much doubt he was talking about their deficiencies ;) .

For what it's worth, I think that while Joe undoubtedly overdid the Indian propaganda to begin with, he certainly doesn't over-post any more and has always conducted himself with a good deal more decorum than many on here.

His blanket posting may well have been the trigger for some of the better element leaving, and that is most certainly a pity, but there is a far greater proportion of goading, mocking, vitriol and abuse on this forum than there used to be, and those aren't traits I associate with Joe.

i agree that bj has toned down .. mainly since he started up with priceform .. however as has been pointed out his manipulation of threads in the beginning was tiresome beyond belief as were his endless self imposed exiles from the forum that never lasted .. it is an undeniable fact that this led to the departure of alot of sound contributors to the forum .. i'm not trying to police the forum just stating facts as they are .. i've met bj and can assure you that he is 1) big ;) and 2) a nice fella but to say his viewpoint of all things indian is myopic would be the understatement of the year if not the decade
