Usually focuses on preparing Irish players for England.....

it's a poor do, isn't it? Can't blame Ntini for cashing in, but I do wonder quite what the point is, for M'sex and especially England. No doubt Gilly will be standing up to him before the end of the season too...

nitini has a wealth of knowledge to give to youngsters, and also, dont forget cricket clubs are a business theyre job is not just to prepare english players and ntini is decent crowd puller . . . its lie moaning at the Universities allowing non british students in . . . but some people on here dont half love to moan

he isn't going to pull any crowds now folks know he's past it

ageing quickly, wont suddenly look decent again, even in the CC

What youngsters? He's not the coach, he's keeping somebody out of the side. He won't be pulling any crowds into Lord's for a county game, tho Gilly might.

But you forget that the counties would make no money at all and soon be out of business if it were not for the ecb subsidy. So one could argue their primary objective is to help prep future England players.

The Uni analogy is hardly a fair comparison - in fact it's the opposite scenario when it comes to UK education - foreign students in UK Unis actually help subsidise local students.
