Enough in this pitch to keep the bowlers interested. Good chance of a result even if we do lose a full day to bad light during the 4 remaining days.

I take the view that we usually see lots of early wkts here before the pitch flattens out from day 3. Unless it swings a lot, I can see SA grinding out a big score 3rd inns. The current draw price is probably a short term lay though (weather permitting).
|
By:
SA will probably NEED a huge 2nd innings score to avoid an INNINGS DEFEAT.
I am told that this ground is famous for such occurences :^0 ;) |
By:
what's the weather looking like for tomorrow??
|
By:
Day 2 looks very bad ...it seems wash out with bad light in effect...
:) |
By:
I am not so convinced. I have reversed out of draw @1.77
The SA weather site has 30% of chance of rain tomorrow and fcst after that looks much brighter generally than it did a couple of days ago. I think we could see a result here, even an England win. |
By:
A small partnership and little weather and will draw nailed....
But im not sure abt the SA weather picture..lets wait for morning |
By:
Were we not expected to lose 2 days at least to the weather in the 1st test?
Light is an obvious issue but trying to second guess the weather in Durban is madness. |
By:
the rains settled in for the night here, may take a while to clear tomorrow, would expect a delayed start.
|
By:
hello solomon, wht kind of delay start u think miss.
|
By:
Play by 12 off by 3

Awesome! get that draw down!!! Cheers IB (and your new betting muse Bumble ) :)
|
By:
no, it wasnt Bumble, it was another totally unrelated source by the name of Bimble ;)
Rather hope they get out there - this is Englands chance in this series. Last night they would have been able to play if they hadnt called it off so early :0 |
By:
Bumble on Sky Sports News right now:
"It's pretty murky and there's hardly a breath of wind. The light is marginal at the moment. I've seen days like this in the last week when the light hasn't got better all day." |
By:
dont mention bumble ffs :0
|
By:

Saffers should declare and try to bowl us out while they have chance :D

By:
Smitty laying the draw?
|
By:
this is pretty flat
|
By:
Having been in South Africa 5 years ago and Australia for last three tours - is it me or does there seem to be less and quieter England support this time around?
|
By:
Are we finally seeing the death of the constant 'Everywhere we go' chant?
|
By:
Recession kicked in a bit - but still a pretty good turn out. Outnumbering the locals as usual :0
|
By:

|
By:
