Might as well go for an (almost) clean sweep.

I still think this will be a draw, but happily I am in good shape, as long as England don't win. Suprising, having played the first 2 days like a window-licking Australian wannabe all-rounder :^0

Colly's like a slightly less classy Alec Stewart......gets sl agged off for most of his career and you just don't realise how valuable he is.
Report minardi December 20, 2009 3:22 PM GMT
now will someone book a flight home for Bell .... no more chances .. just send him home
Report VardonVoo. December 20, 2009 3:23 PM GMT
Colly was responsible for teaching Monty to block properly after
they started using the buddy-buddy system, so effectively he's
been integral in saving two close draws.

Bell's properly stuffed now, isn't he?
Report GrimReaper December 20, 2009 3:23 PM GMT
Not forgetting the 6 hours he batted himself in Cardiff, VV ;)

Report Green Beard December 20, 2009 3:24 PM GMT
fair enough pj, personally thought they wouldnt do it . . and if someone says at the start of the test they will finish 9 down fighting for 3 overs, ill say im probably going to lose 3k or so . . .

1k for those kind of matches is fine

and if i won 1.8k there at the end, all the better
Report GrimReaper December 20, 2009 3:24 PM GMT

tbh I think I am losing my touch a few years ago £1000 loss wouldn't have bothered me really. These days I am so rick averse that I am shying away from risky scenarios a bit

Report Green Beard December 20, 2009 3:29 PM GMT
its all about confidence pj, yourll get it back im sure, but if im on a bad run that would hurt, but im doing well at the moment so willing to run those now, and it could have come off, but the bowling at the end against onions wasnt tight enough
Report trader pj December 20, 2009 3:31 PM GMT

Report STEPTOES YARD December 20, 2009 3:36 PM GMT
Would probably look at the same bet as didnt see the last few wickets going down so quick.

Probably put too much on it though. Overdid the draw back.

Probably should have got rid of more red in that last 2 or 3 balls as well in truth and probably should have took medicine when swann went.

Age old problem of not wanting to take a medium red.

Got lucky today

Do not rely on a SA vs Eng test for a 1.01 train.

SA Home tests usually great for trading . Expect All 3 outcomes to trade in double figures next week in Durban.... ;)

SY

I was in a really good position a couple of days ago then
completely messed it up by being greedy, but managed
to reduce what had become a large red on all outcomes
to a pretty small one - it's that battle with oneself that's
so hard, as I'm sure you know.

My favourite was the friction between Sree Sreesanth and
Andre Nell that ended with Sreesanth whacking him for
six and then running up the pitch doing a bat-twirling dance.

Classic stuff.
