saffers can't afford any delays tomorrow, reckon they'll need the 2nd new ball tomorrow.
Report brentford December 19, 2009 2:27 PM GMT
doubt it at close
Report Green Beard December 19, 2009 2:27 PM GMT
todays forecast was worse than tomoros, should stay clear i reckon
Report Green Beard December 19, 2009 2:28 PM GMT
draw has actually come in :|

england require 363 from 96 overs at 3.78 an over ;)
Report Lix December 19, 2009 2:28 PM GMT
Fulham 1-0 Man u :)
Report cricketjon December 19, 2009 2:28 PM GMT
other than eng came in from 36 to 24

4 an over way too much (just in case 3% of you are asking)

look at the boks with that batting at the end but their 85 overs only fetches 3.5 an over

if eng do get into a good postion tomorrow then he can bowl that leg side sh1te

so as someone said earlier if you are green then play with your money between boks and draw

draw i reckon - we (may) lose some time in the match
Report Johnny Fontaine December 19, 2009 2:30 PM GMT

Report Lix December 19, 2009 2:31 PM GMT
this is just stupid. market was starting to fall for the Saffers, they declare giving themselves 6 extra overs and more with a 2nd new ball tomo and the market gives em the cold shoulder. :|
Report Johnny Fontaine December 19, 2009 2:31 PM GMT
I am Lix. Hate it when the kcunts do this and bring it down.
Report GrimReaper December 19, 2009 2:32 PM GMT
Relax, Lix.

England have as much chance of winning this as I have of Myleene Klass turning up at Chateau Grim tonight and saying "hey Grim, any chance you could see your way to spaffing on my chebs please?"
Report oitoitoi December 19, 2009 2:32 PM GMT
can't see cook o rcook lasting too long on this, actually cant see prior, bell or trott doing too much either tbh, imo its all on strauss and colly.

Lol, plenty of SA and draw GSM calls. Just need a few England GSMs for a bumper test. :-)
Report Green Beard December 19, 2009 2:42 PM GMT
if you didnt lay the draw at 1.6, when england started batting, you shouldnt be on betfair imvho

Back SA at 3.0??

Hmmm.....

world class over from Morne that
Report oitoitoi December 19, 2009 2:43 PM GMT
with strauss gone its all on colly and some tail end resistance if eng want to pull out the draw.

remember something like 17 consecutive tests in sa with a result, there's a reason for that....

unless the weather intervenes of course...
Report bohemond December 19, 2009 2:44 PM GMT
dont know why u r writing trott off - very odd
Report Johnny Fontaine December 19, 2009 2:44 PM GMT
I know you like to nick ticks Boh
Report oitoitoi December 19, 2009 2:45 PM GMT
this type of surface just doesn't suit trott, he's similar to kp, he prefers the ball coming onto the bat, this sort of surface favours the crouching nurdlers like colly, trott stands much taller in his stance.
Report brentford December 19, 2009 2:45 PM GMT
Bell and Prior in Sl nearly pulled off a save in not disimillar situ (though neither popular so deosn't count).

Report Doyler1987 December 19, 2009 2:46 PM GMT

Report Johnny Fontaine December 19, 2009 2:48 PM GMT
When can I get my copy of the said book ?
Report oitoitoi December 19, 2009 2:48 PM GMT
if its not weather i reckon it's an underestimation of the sa attack/overstimation of the eng batting order.

always remember at jamaica when conceding an almost 100 run lead on a wearing surface eng were still favourites, market loves em.

have no ambitions of going for the target?

why dont teams come out with it.

One batter strauss or cook

and have a good tailender taking the early balls.

nonsensical

gbs investments has got about 1 pick of 5 wrong after its been certified, its still nailed on, its all about trading it right until hopping on that train tomoro afternoon.
Report Green Beard December 19, 2009 3:03 PM GMT
good point tuthoops

anyone know why if you start batting in the dark, you dont send in a nightwatchman, but lose a wicket and you send one in to protect the better batters?

might aswell just send one in straight?
Report Lix December 19, 2009 3:05 PM GMT
secs away from laying fulham at 1.94 . SUSPENDED! :D
Report tuthoops December 19, 2009 3:05 PM GMT
if the tailender goes get the the better bat in. maybe?
Report VardonVoo. December 19, 2009 3:09 PM GMT
Boh

Protecting your top batsmen at the expense of having a tailender in
for the next session - if he starts off by trying to whack it out of the
park until he gets out then I'll believe they're going for it.
