I didnt think a decent South African cricket commentator / pundit existed. But so far Shaun has proved me wrong, very impressed, insightful, bit of banter, no myopic jingoism.

In fact every one, with the exception of the token clown Botham on Sky are very impressive. Massive contrast with them and the Aussies, who may be the worst commentry team ever assembled.

Agree, he is worth listening to and also agree about the Oz comms........but then they've been like that since the Packer days. Only exception imo would be Michael Slater.

After listening to The Aussie and Indian comms for the last couple of months its nice to hear someone who does not belt out everything they think of straight away in an aggressve/harsh tone.

Pollock is useless, laughs at his own terrible jokes and only has chemistry with the other dimwits (beef and bumble)
