Gotta get Zee for this. Will they let me have just the one month for £20 or do they tie you down with a longer deal?
|
By:
the offer before the recent ODIs was £40 for the 2 mths that covered that series ans these tests, give them a call and ask if the have any packages just for these games
|
By:
should have bought the package Lix you skinflint :D
|
By:

Ted! :|
Just moved into a new flat sans interweb or sky. these things seem to take a while. Will get Zee on Tues for whatever it costs! This series should be a proper mug off. Could easily see the 1st ever 1.01 test match GUBBING . :) |
By:
oh and cheers Fundy. :)
|
By:
Mug off :^0
Should be a classic for some low lays on this one. Two teams capable of collapsing from anywhere - the Kiwis right from the top. Would be a stand out draw lay if the last session wasn't scheduled to start when it should be dark... |
By:
Assuming this is at the university oval ,
Was a very good surface there last year (drop in pitch I think, though couldn't swear to it) - both teams surpassed themselves by on only getting mid 300's on it. horrific drainage, which I guess may have been worked on since, though NZ cricket hardly wealthy. |
By:
* not a drop in surface in the two previous tests having looked it up.

short video link that may be of interest. |

Just paid £40 for the 'cricket package' :_|
Told em it was already half done and that i only wanted Zee for a month but they told me it would cost more in subscription charges, connection charges etc... £40 seems a lot for 1 month. Tempted to give it a swerve with so much other cricket on sky but you just know this one will be the one with the crazy price swings. |
By:
excellent link brenty .. would ya say tommy tamiti likes the odd beer or 4 :D
|
By:
amusing interview
Tubberty (is that really his name) :^0 - "bla, bla.... first 4 dayer ..... I'll be absolutely stocked..... " pmsl :^0 Moreover I thought he looked like a very fat Warnie :D |
By:
*correction, stoked :)
|
By:
when is this please?
11pm tonight ? or tmrw night? |
By:
what's even more amusing is that he's there on his tod, not even a stray dog let alone a bystander or 2. Imagine the scenes at Green Park where there were probably a few hundered Indians beavering away amid contentious tiffs between representatives comprising the local curator, some BCCI curator, BCCI officials, ICC bigwigs, TV companies, WAGS and the resident Uncle Tom Cobbley :D
|
By:
tonight :)
|
By:
ok not on the ZEE listings for tonite that's all
|
By:
Too many imponderables on kiwi tracks so no bet for me... all 3 results possible ..i feel passionatly about any of the 3 so will give it a miss and wish both sides well :)
|
By:
should read "i do not feel passionate about any outcome" :(
|
By:
:^0 ted .. he probably will be stocked if he prepares a shocker .. :0
|
By:
bigjoe you will bebacking the injuns to win in dunedin!! LOL only joking.
how are you big guy? |
By:
:D @ groundsman comments.
If cricinfo guesses are correct NZ will be playing two of their best 5 batsmen at 7 (McCullum) and 8 (Vettori) in the order, seems ridiculous to me. Pakistan look a bit fragile batting wise but a very decent bowling line up, (Asif, Aamer, Gul and one of either Ajmal/Kaneria If Asif is back to anywhere like form and fitness he could be ideal against some of the suspect NZ techniques and Aamer already looks a top class act in waiting if he can avoid some of the pitfalls Asif and co have already failed to swerve. |
By:
asif looked well short of pace in the CT but then he was never express. Accuracy was his main strength and if he gets into a good rhythm bowling an off stump line with a great seam position I can see the kiwis struggling. Hopefully there's some bounce in the pitch which would be great for Bond and should cause the Pak bats a few problems too. This whole series has RESULT all over it imo.
Have backed 2-1 correct score either way, both 7/1 |
By:
ffs when are we supposed to sleep or watch wwe reruns?
|
By:
I thought you preferred the winter nights Lori ?:|
|
By:
Prefer the nights Lix, but not 24 hours :^0
|
By:
NZ top order batting seems to me to be their weak point
1 Tim McIntosh, 2 Martin Guptill, 3 Daniel Flynn, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Peter Fulton, 6 Grant Elliott, 7 Brendon McCullum (wk), 8 Daniel Vettori (capt), 9 Shane Bond, 10 Daryl Tuffey, 11 Chris Martin. Dont know much about McIntosh, Flynn. Days 2 and 3 expected to rain, with Day 5 partial showers. |
By:
Yoiu know even less about the weather than you ddo about the batting lineup
|
By:
How come it isnt on the listings for tonight then ?
|
By:
if it's not on Zee tonight Mr Lix will be seething :^0
|
By:
Not on zee :0
Bloody hell. Pretty poor stuff having got a subscription out of loads. Do they think you signed up for shilpas latest bollywood blockbuster |
By:
I suspect you will find it will be on, I think Zee have been known to have their schedules wrong before from memory. At least we hope so, they have tomorrow night listed as day 1, so they are clearly not intending to give day 1 a wide berth.
|
By:
11.00pm 23rd Nov in the UK is 11.00am 24th Nov in NZ - hope they're not a day out :|
|
By:
I find the most disappointing thing here that they are playing this at a ground with a 6000 capacity.
If they did the right thing and played it at a ground with a capacity of 60 there would be quite some atmosphere I would imagine. |
By:
as DE says, some of the asian market channels that show sporadic cricket get a bit lazy with the epg at times - can't guarantee it will be on but I'd be very surprised if it wasn't.
|
By:
Lippy's back :^0
|
By:
Will there be any decent links for this ?
extracover, crictime ? |
