The All Stars are the team of the year from last year's Big Bash, minus skipper Brad Hodge, batsmen Callum Ferguson (injured) and David Hussey (poached by the opposition) and the entire pace attack of Harwood, Nannes and Gul. Don't know what they would've done if there weren't those injuries to the Victorian, as 4 of the replacements were signed up a long time ago - Hayden, Gilchrist, Warne and McGrath. The others are Travis Birt and Nathan Rimmington. They have four openers and two keepers, which will give skipper Shane Warne some thinking to do - nobody's particularly interested in watching Harris and Lockyear bat but he has to shuffle them down the order somewhere. For the keepers, Gilchrist was a liability in the field when he used to play as a batsman alongside Healy, while Manou's never fielded without gloves at anything like this level as far as I can find/remember, but he has a decent arm.

if Australia XI bat first, Im laying them at the odds of 1.60-1.70 or so. Im confident that this ACA side can keep the runs down
