Natural replacement to Flintoff imo. Seems to have made that step up this year. Can bowl very sharply and scoring some runs recently.

Would take him on the tour to South Africa this winter, batting at No.7.

You're fishing right? Well at least I hope you are.

I don't really rate him that highly, or Bresnan for that matter but I found the fact that neither made the Lions side slightly bemusing.

Wright more gainfully employed at Edgbaston :0

a inferior version of shane watson i would say and i don't rate him either.

would certainly have come in for me if we had still been 1-0 up would strengthen the batting and has some useful bowling form in the book - could hsve helped our depth

sorry I forgot he'll be playing for Sussex anyway

If he played for Surrey or Kent he would have been an England regular.

hes averaging high 50's with the bat and 34 with the ball this year. Definitely worthy of consideration

The thing is, he is not exactly a medium pace plodder. Has the potential to hit the high 80mphs with the ball and is getting better with the bat.

Always gets abuse on here - I think its cos he is a blonde :0

Think he has an international future, and he's still quite young. Would have him in the one day side to develop internationally

Got abuse because of a few low scores opening in the 20/20 world cup but that is always going to happen when you are opening in that form of the game.

Personally would have him at 7 or 8 for the ODI/20-20 side because he is not that great against the new ball.

Has good temprement as well. England just need to give him a good run in the side.
