Thought it seemed a strange time to take the batting pp with then starting to score freely in the leadup and the ball change 3 overs away. Another 5 or 6 overs at around 6-7 rpo and they'd have maybe needed 120 from 13 overs with wickets in hand. Launching it then may have been a bit better, but I guess they were up against it in any case.

It's always tricky timing it right and you could argue two set bats going well is the right time. Just following on the net here so I can't see what is happening

Theres no ball change in australian domestic 50 overs. They use a seperate ball from each end instead.

Ok, that explains the timing a bit better for the WA batting pp. I suppose it's fair enough, if they smashed 45-50 from it they'd have been left needing maybe 110 from 14 overs.
