This game shows what a complete idiot he is. As usual his Racing Post column is full of **e about how wonderful 20/20 slogging is and how terrible 50 over ODIs are. Well this beats the **e-fest that no real cricket fan likes. Stick to what you know Bruce, but if he did that he wouldnt say anything.
Innocent, great if its 1 in 10. Still better than the slogging game that only non cricket fans like. Personally I think the 40 over game is the way forward, short enough to keep the impatient ones entertained but long enough for an innings and game to develop.
Also my point is that the guy says it pratically every other week in his pathetic repeating column (the other weeks are usually just moans that beckham is still being picked). He has nothing new to say and what he does shows his lack of knowledge and in this case his dislike from real cricket

50 over stuff still produces plenty of good games, all formats can provide ordinairy fair...can't see why all formats can't play a significant part long term..
despite the betting interest - I doubt the chmpions league made much impact on the non betting cricket follower

I think 2020 is the future (though i do like 40 overs) because teams play the strategy that's best for them nearly all the time.
Too often you see a team in 50 overs chasing an unattainable target, and instead of going for the miracle slog for 30 overs to have a chance, they try not to lose by too much so the crowd have something to watch.
T20s need to have two matches in a day though imo.
