Some in sussex are worried about the negative mpact on the careers of rayner and beer but if that can be managed it all looks good.

Hoggard is in cloud cuckoo land and the leicestershire people are welcome to him. There is no precedent for such a move working out well - old fast bowlers should just fade away gracefully. Quite what credentials he has for being captain I have no idea. Surely this can only end in tears.
