The message is clear....use common sense, you are not being told what to do.

If you still do not understand post your question/ problem or issue here and either Ibrahima or myself will answer it for you..ie. tell you what to do.

In the case of Angoose and Clydebank29......shut the F... up stay in and do not use social media.

I hope that is clear enough

Thank you and have a good day

Is it common sense to shake hands with COVID-19 patients ?
Report MrBaboon May 11, 2020 7:20 AM BST
No

Next question
Report Angoose May 11, 2020 7:24 AM BST
So you agree, the Prime Minister has no common sense.
Report Angoose May 11, 2020 7:27 AM BST

Angoose....I have already given you some perfectly sensible advice, to shut the F..up, stay in and do not use social media.

You are being told what to do and still ignoring it....I thought you wanted clarity

I do not look like that........my ass is much less red

It’s seems even the press who I presumed were reasonabley well educated are struggling with been treated as adults and simply been ask to use some common sense.

I understand it’s difficult in nursery schools .

If Doris meant to say common sense why does the message say be alert! ... for what? - traffic on the road!
The man doesn't have any credibility ... shaking hands with everyone; attending rugby games; allowing plane loads travellers into the UK
Doris is apt to offer language used in times of war; so he should remember loose talk costs lives ... his silly rhetoric doesn't help us at all

Furloughing set to be extended at lower rate
Ministers are expected to extend the state bankrolling of wages until the end of September, at a reduced rate of 60%, while also topping up the pay packets of staff brought back to work part-time. Changes to the furlough scheme could be announced by Rishi Sunak tomorrow.

Stay alert for the mugger that is COVID-19 as you navigate your way through the alpine tunnel Shocked
Report impossible123 May 11, 2020 7:52 AM BST
Personally, I'd be alert for muggers than anything as this will be the 1st and best opportunity for them to strike for a long while given the new found freedom, and relaxation of lockdown; a distraction and one's mobile, purse, etc, could be gone.
Report irishone May 11, 2020 8:00 AM BST
How long you been carrying a purse ?
Report impossible123 May 11, 2020 8:05 AM BST
Common sense is opened to interpretation (usually to suit). As such, a recipe for an instant spike-up. I believe this is a wholly inept and irresponsible advice by the government.
Report Whisperingdeath May 11, 2020 8:11 AM BST
I would not take advice or instruction from this Government.

They do not know what they are doing still!
Report foxy May 11, 2020 8:23 AM BST
No common sense is commen sense really isn’t tricky
Report irishone May 11, 2020 8:25 AM BST
Common sense aint so common in the u k
Report Angoose May 11, 2020 8:32 AM BST
In a psychology context, Smedslund defines common sense as "the system of implications shared by the competent users of a language" and notes, "A proposition in a given context belongs to common sense if and only if all competent users of the language involved agree that the proposition in the given context is true and that its negation is false."
Report Whisperingdeath May 11, 2020 8:44 AM BST
Common sense....don’t shake hand with covid patients

Common sense... have a few beers with your mates down by the river and get some vitamin D, keep your distance and save your mental elf

Common sense....do not trust the Government, work it out yourself. Protect yourself at all times and those around you.
Report foxy May 11, 2020 8:49 AM BST
Irishone not sure we have people dropping bags of in the street over here with body parts in as warning to rival gangs.
Report Whisperingdeath May 11, 2020 8:52 AM BST
Follow the science.

Quarantine introduced in a few weeks but not for people from Ireland or France because scientifically they present no risk
Report irishone May 11, 2020 8:56 AM BST

It down to common sense now

its seems the message is,get the working class back to work but dont let them have anything else. the middle and upper classes can stay at home and work,go to parks and exercise and try and fit in a game of golf or two if you can be bothered

Mr baboon, if I live in Wales, can I go and meet up with members of my family who live in England in a park near where they live?

The place I contract at have furloughed most of their tools men. The three directors have been working full time - not at home - and are taking a 50% pay cut until normality resumes. The business will be there when the lads return, meanwhile they are on 80% of wages at home. Generalising is often way off the mark in reality.

Bóllocks it's clear. He's already sent Raab out on Radio and TV this morning to clarify and there's still confusion.
They were saying one person can meet with one other person from a different household yesterday. Now Raab says you can meet two relatives at the same time in the park. He's also saying that people will return to work from Wednesday. Not what was said last night.

See it for what it is, a shítshow of national embarrassment from day 1.

There is literally nothing Boris has done impressively during this entire epidemic.

saddo thats an excellent company and even better example and fair play to them.however i bet its a one in a million example.very few folk will be back to work unless the gun is at their head.why go to work for 20% extra? thats the dilemma they have made. folk will go back when they get their life back

I doubt that they are rare. If you have a business you can fight for it or watch it sink and start again, or not. The fighters, and their employees, will do best out of this. The lads can't wait to get back, routine is good.

They are, but I doubt there is a simple way through this for any crowded nation. I think most of us will have to get it and the plan for next time must be to insulate or isolate those who need to avoid it. The show must go on.

I’ve told Angoose this ...he wants clear simple advice on what to do as he says Government hasn’t provided it.

Stay at home and do not use social media

Could you make sure sonko knows that?  (Just to avoid unfortunate accidents.)
Report Whisperingdeath May 11, 2020 2:09 PM BST
Forgetting about science and R for one moment. The questions that need to be answered is how to get public transport operating at full capacity again and children back to school so parents can go back to work plus childminding.

If these cannot be solved there is no solution. The bottom line is push will come to shove financially and economically. There will be more deaths as a result imho than from the virus. Maybe that is not an exaggeration.

We really are in trouble here. Necessity and desperation is the only way we shall find a solution.

This is not Sparta!
