The longer it goes without Flint’s colleague backing her up, the more Flint will be worried IMO. Unless, of course, Flint is playing the long game and is super confident of corroboration any time she pleases and is waiting for maximum effect? That would be fun to witness.

When she announced she was standing, my first thought was, the ego has landed. Awful woman, if Labour have half a brain (dubious) they wouldnt touch her with a bargepole

Labour as it stands does not exist, its a party run by momentum who's members will vote in another marxist member, why do you think Corbyn is still there, because momemtum need him to remain so a like for like candidate takes his place.

I saw her on Victoria Derbyshire, and she came across very well. She was eloquent, honest, intelligent, decisive and a socialist despite her present very comfortable life.
She bought her a mum a flat (relinquished her mum's council house), and owns the house her brother is living in. She also admitted she's rich, and has a salary of £70k per annum. But, was near destitute and brought up in a council house after her father left; used food vouchers at school; hid from money leaders who came to the door, etc.
Even though she's married to a high court judge, and has a title she's never used it. And, she makes no apology for sending her son to the best school as that is the duty of a parent, and against her Party line.
I think she's got substance, and gravitas.

Given a free reign I believe she'd be good for the country, and The Labour Party. A politician acting on the constraints of their Party and paymaster is a fraud eg "chicken" Corbyn who's done nothing but taken the country backward under the disguise of socialism. Where and how she lives ought not to count against her or anyone doing better for themselves given her background and hardships encountered.
I think Emily Thornberry is 100x more intelligent and politically experienced to be the leader than Mr Starmer or RLB or Nandy unlike the stupid "chicken" Corbyn who's never had a proper job (one for a short while) except a Union rep or trade unionist. He is also as thick as treacle, and an economic fantasist. But, he's garnered for himself a generous and rewarding pension pot from being in politics and leader courtesy of the Unions; a socialist in clothing only.

You could ask the same question to anyone outside her constituency. Just like "chicken" Corbyn she played her cards beautifully, got in with the right (political) gang and another garnered a big pension pot when she decides to relinquish her post as MP. A career politician thro' and thro'.
