My missus is a teacher. The college has a so called ‘Diversity Officer’ who is basically Hitler in a dress. You would not believe the stupid things teachers are required to do or not do these days.

I’ll give you an example.
When working I call most younger women “love” and older women “mum.” It’s just something I’ve always done and, other than being friendly, nothing is meant by it all really. I couldn’t care less because I work for myself but call somebody that at the college my wife works and you get in trouble. Madness! |

My granddaughter aged 13 months goes to a playgroup. At a recent Xmas party, parents they were told that children could not wear anything to signify any religious affiliation. What is the point of a Christmas party if you are not allowed to be a Christian?

Back in my youth I recall a lady who used to scour the media seeking out potential offence and report the source to the relevant authority/watchdog .
She was something of a figure of ridicule and the target of much humour and occasionally anger but was generally tolerated and patronised . Even had a 'top shelf' publication named after her did Mary Whitehouse  |
