The Beatles pic on Abbey Road crosswalk was taken 50 years ago this week

Taken 8th August 1969
Coincidentally, I think the Manson murders were going on at almost the same time (given the time difference to the West Coast)
And the tv mini series about Manson was entitled Helter Skelter, a Beatles song off the White Album.
