"Sane Labour" has a nice ring to it, if they are still looking for a name as an alternative to Corbyn's Labour Party.

Meanwhile...

The word 'spiv' is very often used by persons of limited intelligence (with an even more limited vocabulary) to describe better-off people with more money.

I was wondering whether this young man also qualified for the description?  You see he's reportedly been making a few quid out of renting out his former 'social housing' flat. He uses AirBnB website to do this, despite Labour's dislike of this platform. This on top of the money he already earns in a cosy sinecure via the cronyism route.

Corbyn's Labour : Do as I say, not as I do.

The momentum guy just interviewed seem to be trying to control the snarl and his hatred for the people who have just left, you can just imagine what it's like behind closed doors being a moderate labour MP, dealing with the hard left fanatics who now have the whip hand. They keep saying there is a culture of bullying and intimidation, and it's hard to understand why anyone would think they have been making it up.

And as usual the luvvies on the BBC are saying that being a white woman is so terrible and being a "BME" must be even worse.
Yet time and time again we are told it's white working class MEN that are being left behind in the UK.
Just the other day yet again there were stats saying that as a proportion of the population, white people are LESS likely to go to uni than BME. Women are more likely to go to uni. The most under represented group at british unis are white working class men.

That's a simple fact. Not that you'd get that from the PC back slapping crap on Loose Women do Politics.

It's funny how Japan is a relatively small island with few natural resources, population in high density as large areas aren't very habitable, but still has so many and varied (and sometimes dominant) industries and has done for many decades. These are dynamic successful independent companies. Did they not have militant trade unions destroy their crap inefficient nationalised industries in the 70s or something? LaughWhoops

This gang of 7 will soon be forgotten and consigned into oblivion, and then ask to wriggle back into the Party post the Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbot Communist regime. However, I do hope these 7 (now) Independent MPs will do the honourable and decent thing and formerly give up their seat and seek re-election as Independent MPs - a natural progression as they've already resigned their Labour Party whip.

The Conservative Party had Michael Howard as their teflon-man; Chuka Umunna is the Labour Party equivalent just a bit thicker and more transparent.

These MPs are no Shirley Williams, Bill Rodgers, David Owen or Roy Jenkins who were all former Cabinet Ministers. And I must admit I do not even know (apart from one) their names until their resignations.

Won't happen in the Tories unless the makeup of the MPs alters radically. Boris would win with the members easy I think but will struggle to get on the ballot in its current form.
