Been trying to cut out the cigarettes for years and today i finally decided to buy a vape. No idea whether it will work but want to try something. Any decent flavours to try etc? Or just any decent tips to quit full stop? Cheers
I've tried it. While I admit they're very close to the real thing, I just can't get on with them.
They'll probably help you cut down a lot if you take to it, then you'll probably find it easier to quit.
My missus vapes, but she's addicted to that instead of smoking now.

Probably the best way to get you off the tabs. Getting the right 'kit' is important, pen type, 'mods' etc Some people buy a cheap crappy pen and don't get on with them then give up. Also getting the right liquid that suits you is important - nicotine strength. I make my own liquids and it saves an absolute fortune, something to consider. Some also find they start coughing when they start vaping and then stop, but it's usually just the lungs clearing up, if you were to stop smoking alone you'd still get a cough.

Been vaping for 3 years now, after a 20+ a day habit for 30 odd years. Haven't bought a pouch of tobacco from day one since I started vaping. I was persuaded by my son in law to try a vape... went out that day and bought a cheapo stick thing. It was ok (ish) and after about a week decided to invest in something a bit better. One thing led to another, tried this and that, settled on an Eleaf Pico with a Melo tank. Progressed sometime ago to making my own juice, around 16% nicotine (1.6mg) strength, stuck on Vanilla Custard flavour, cos I like it :) Have to say, my health is so much better since giving up the tobacco... breathe much better, find walking and anything strenuous so much easier to do. I liked smoking, but it didn't like me, and I knew it. Something had to give and I don't regret it. One thing which is very noticeable is if I'm unable to use my vape stick for any length of time, eg on a flight, cinema, or any place that smoking is not allowed, I don't get the screaming urges to have a f*g any more. Have gone days without a vape. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it (smokers, that is.. just in case anyone thinks I'm trying to encourage non smokers to give it a go!)
