I put this one the footy forum but probably better on here...
I kept receiving money off vouchers for doing an online shop, £12.00 for a £50+ order so I decided to take advantage. The shopping arrived, everything well in date and not a solitary think missing or replaced with an alternative. Good start but even better than that I got another £10 off voucher for my next £50 shop.
Tomorrow my 4th or 5th shop is on its way and I'm still getting £10 off my next online shop every time (so far)
That just has to be value for money!
I've also taken advantage of their Tue/Wed/Thur pass for £30 per year with all deliveries over £40 free. Considering I'm doing a fortnightly shop I'm paying just over £1 on average... my petrol costs more than that!
We probably had four inches of snow here on Sunday morning. It certainly wasn't nice driving conditions, yet while I was taking the dog out, there was an endless stream of traffic going into Morrisons.
I've no idea why people still do a big shop themselves when you can get it packed and delivered to your door for almost nothing.
And don't get me started on Amazon. ANYTHING you want is on there, and that's delivered to your door the next day. Agoraphobics have never had it better!

The only thing is, that they're getting you to buy a minimum of £50 worth at a time, where you might have only spent £20 or £30. so a (maximum) of 20% off, when they have a margin of (at least) 40% on average and they don't need to pay cashiers! Also, though I know it varies, Sainsburys doesn't mind being quite highly priced for its stuff.
Mind you, I have a massive hatred for all supermarkets, so perhaps I'm a bit jaded.

No Study, that's a fair point but I do only shop once a fortnight as a rule and Sainbury's do tend to have not only decent food but also a lot of everyday items on offer, which I can't seem to find in Tesco's (we have a massive Tesco's up this way) for example.
Allowing for petrol and not forgetting time I still feel I am getting a pretty good deal here and a deal worth sharing with you guys/girls

It probably is mate, I tend to let my abject downer on supermarkets get in the way. I really could spend hours listing all the bad things...
BUT, I do like a nice trip out to waitrose every so often. (not being a hypocrite btw, just making the most of something I can't change )

Aspro, I have been meaning to post about the money off at Sainsburys but as men usually hate even the mention of the word 'shopping' I thought better of it
Like you I had loads of vouchers. I initially went on there with the introductory £18 off on your first online shop and then they kept on giving me £10 and £12 of vouchers! In all the vouchers came to almost £100! I was also gobsmacked to see that they send it out for just £1 delivery charge, normally about 8/9/10 at night and at other times. Where can you get such service for £1 ! They came when they said and the delivery men were very helpful.
It was easy for me to get the fifty or sixty pounds shops because I like some of their wine. Indeed the first shop I had was £18 of the shop and 25% of the wine! As they haven't gave me any more vouchers I will wait until the 25% off wine promotion.

Had a delivery today annie and still came with another £10 off voucher for the next one... I feel spoilt.
If you can find something that saves people money it is good to share, shopping or not

What a long way things have come,i remember growing up in the 60,s and there was a corner shop on the street every 100 yards, each had there own niche, one might have parafin, another loose cigs, one open a bit late, etc. Live in a village and while 2 shops the one i frequent is complaining for a while is all he sees is the little vans flying past. I can't blame people, what a dose going to a supermarket is,morally i would be obliged to sometimes go with mrs lapsy to do the shop and push a trolley around,in fairness even she hated it,the shopping fairy now arrives in a van with the stuff and you have to believe in the evolution of the species, thank God. I'd have to be an advocate.
