It is all about an agenda - you have to all into line behind the narrative. Are you aware they changed all the voting panel set up? Not that this chap had anything to do with it like agitating for it - no definitely false news!!!
Then suddenly other people are winning the awards despite ed sheeran out selling more by several times over ( so he obviously isn't popular ha ha) and don't go round saying it was fixed ho ho!!!(I can't stand sheeran by the way)
I don't mention any of the comments a certain person's anti gay comments - oh no - he definitely embraces LGBT people.
I say all this as your leading cult on here.

Good ole Stormzy- wearing Nike trainers which are made under horrible conditions in Bangla Desh, where factories burn down more regularly than tower blocks in the UK. Hypocrisy makes his world go round!
Doctor. you clearly are not embracing the agenda. The voting panel have - are you going to be the odd one out here.
I have to advise you to maintain my cult status.

Mr OK-A Gender is a very controversial issue these days. But thanks for your interest.
Currently being promoted by the right on bbc news !!!! right now.
He’s giving 50 percent of all profits he makes this year to Grenfell allegedly, respect bruv putting your money where your mouth is,unlike Bono and the Saint.
Utter bilge, as the demographic of the country changes fast, utter shiite like grime will be the norm on radio 2 in 10 years.
Great guy and good on him for speaking the truth, respect.
No doubting his musical talent as well, best of British.

Another poorly educated celeb thinking he knows best.

My reply to jamesdean deleted. I quoted Stormzy's words as printed in the Guardian.
I have to confess wouldn't it be nice not to have a nationality
and if the barber asked, or someone from a different country asked where are you from it would be possible to say no where and that would be legally true

in the meantime I will answer such nationalistic questions with a steely silence
From the Mail Online
Michael Omari was born in a council house in Croydon, South London, in 1993.
He is one of four children raised by his single mother Abigail, an evangelical Christian, after his father walked out when he was an infant.
Mum emigrated from Ghana to Britain in the hope of giving herself and her family a better life. And she succeeded. On Wednesday her son — now known as grime rapper Stormzy — won two top gongs, for best British male solo artist and best album at the Brit Awards for pop music.
If ever there were proof that whatever your background, this is a country that provides opportunities, Stormzy is it. He is a formidable talent. Accepting his awards he thanked God, his family — and then proceeded to attack the Tory Government.
He rapped: ‘Yo, Theresa May, where’s the money for Grenfell . . . and you got the cheek to call us savages, you should do some jail time . . . we should burn your house down and see if you can manage this.’
What was most shocking about this was its bile and ignorance.
The PM has never called anyone ‘savages’ let alone the victims and survivors of Grenfell. Her government has committed £58 million to helping victims of the Grenfell tragedy and more will follow. And yet Stormzy’s message was that, as some vile form of retribution for Grenfell, Theresa May’s house should be burnt down to see how she likes it.
Bile and ignorance along with ingratitude sums him up.

He's shown gratitude. First thing he did was thank God and his family.
Why are they plugging their guitars in? Why don't they get a haircut? Why is he swinging his hips like that? Why are they signing about Vietnam? What does rap mean? THESE PEOPLE ARE CORRUPTING THE YOUTH Etc etc etc. The present is just history repeating.
Not hard to understand why Stormzy appeals to the likes of James and John.
to be fair to stormsy there is previous between him and the paper
and he called them out on twitter and during his freestyle
so their article is not unexpected

He must appeal to more than John and I considering he's just won 2 Brit awards.
What's more sinister is why akabula doesn't like him. I'm sure it's all down to his musical talent and no other reason ofc

He's fkin sihte, that's why he doesn't like him. Not saying he's not a pleasant bloke, but that type of music is disgusting. Are you 16?
Yep, as I said Kenny. I'm sure it's just down to his musical taste. How can anyone over 16 possibly like someone who's just
won two Brits including best British male solo artist?
won two Brits including best British male solo artist?
yes, james, but who's voting? probably 16-25 year olds.
I think him suggesting that someones house gets burned down has something to do with my take on him.
I also think that like a load of other politically minded people he is using a tragedy to suit his agenda.

I'd rather pour bleach down my ears than listen to him actually. He doesn't appeal to me at all. Music has always pushed boundaries and always should. I'm able to understand and respect that without sounding like Rev Lovejoy's wife.
Funny he we see things differently.
Rather than using a tragedy to suit his 'agenda' whatever that is supposed to be, I'd rather look at it as he's
using his undoubted talent to voice major concerns on a bigger stage. He's speaking the opinions of many whether you like it or not
and for that he deserves the credit he has been getting.

Kenny I've sent you a message.
Nowt to do with this but re animal welfare.

Why does he deserve credit? What has he highlighted?
Called for money which is already there. Where did savages come from? Invented to garner support for whatever his cause is.

Why doesn't anybody mention the fact that he's from Surrey? He's about as authentic as Ed Sheeran!!!
I stumbled by accident the other evening and saw this Stormzy character in the TV, singing at an Awards thing. He really needs to sort out that leak. His roof must be seriously compromised and I don't doubt that there could be residual damage to the building electrics, too. None of that "singing" or whatever it is meant to be, until this is rectified.

flogged about a 6th or a 10th of what sheeran has yet is much more popular - according to those who voted - work that one out
didn't they change the voting panel and guess who was involved in putting pressure on that?

Up until this thread had not heard of Stormy and had a look at this years winners
have only heard of Foo fighters and old ED
Im sure a place on QT awaits
