German authorities were particularly concerned about protecting women from sexual abuse following the mass New Year's Eve harassment that occurred in Cologne two years ago.

Police in Berlin said that there were 13 reports of sexual harassment and that seven suspects in the cases were detained.

"As always, there was a lot going on in the city," police wrote on Twitter, noting that they'd fielded 3,084 emergency calls.

Six police officers were injured in the Schöneberg district by groups of people who threw firecrackers and glass bottles at them.

Nice and calm ...

In Cologne, police reported at least nine cases of "sexual offenses" and were able to detain suspects in three of the incidents.

In the southern city of Munich, police said there no cases of sexual harassment or assault reported on New Year's Eve, but a police spokesperson told news agency DPA "that such cases are often only reported one or two days later."

Authorities in Germany sought to prevent a repeat of the New Year's celebrations two years ago in Cologne where hundreds of women were groped, harassed and sexually assaulted by groups of men near the city's main train station. Among those accused of carrying out the assaults were migrants.

Calm ...

In one neighborhood in the western city of Bonn, several people were caught on camera shooting fireworks at people on the street from their car. The minute-long video (embedded above) shows pedestrians fleeing from fireworks being shot at them from a red car in the center of the Tannenbusch district of Bonn.

The video spread widely on Monday, although SSIO — a local rapper who filmed the incident — said it occurred on Friday. Bonn police have said they are investigating the video.

A disastrous few days indeed for Germany. Not only do they have to take unprecedented security measures to try and protect German women from The Enemy Within, but at least one imbecilic German police forces is now sending Tweets in Arabic.

Anyone who asks sensible and timely questions about this disastrous policy can also seemingly expect to be investigated by police, regardless of whether the questions are raised by an elected senior politician.

Germany is seemingly hell-bent on following Sweden's catastrophic descent.

Their language will become dominant, the norm and yet Merkel will continue to rule? Neat-o.

I'll be very disappointed if German isn't eventually replaced as the official language by English. English is such a beautiful language and as many people as possible should have it as their first language.
Report saddo • January 2, 2018 5:57 PM GMT
That has been our downfall, too many wrong uns have it as a second language. I wish we spoke Icelandic.

edy with his normal anti British rhetoric.
The potential for destruction is being played out in front of us in Germany and Sweden.
What do these countries have in common? A liberal approach to immigration.

I posted anti-British rhetoric on this thread?
Report akabula • January 2, 2018 6:10 PM GMT
Should actually have said 'had in common' as both now awake to the problem.
The UK is still one of the best countries to live in but we need to act on the infestation we have.

In fact I don't remember ever really posting anti-British rhetoric. Don't you remember how that lfc guy tried to belittle British achievements of the past decades and I made sure to showcase and list a few of the great things Britain has contributed during that time to make the world a better place?

Then of course in this very thread I voiced my willingness to get my mother tongue officially replaced by English. There aren't many greaters honours I could possibly give out.
Report edy • January 2, 2018 6:31 PM GMT
Germany doesn't really have a liberal approach to immigration btw. We don't even have a real immigration law and even after 2015 the percentage of people born outside the EU is still lower in Germany than it is in e.g the UK.

What we did do was temporarily take pressure off of the likes of Greece after Germany, France, UK etc. left the outside Schengen countries alone for years, comfortably hid behind Dublin III, instead of helping them. They had been calling for help for years, but we inner European countries just kept saying "Not our problem, here is a copy of the Dublin III treaty. Now go away". That now Germany and many of its citizens cry around about other EU countries being so terribly mean and uncooperative in regards to refugee resettlement is laughable if you take German policy from before 2015 into consideration.

All the while already then working on the Turkey deal and enhanced Frontex. Of course a lot of things could've and should've gone differently if Merkel, Hollande and Cameron had ever chosen to listen to Italy and Greece. It's not like 2015 and its events came without prior notice and warnings. But hey, Merkel and her band of conservatives have never been particularly visionary and thinking ahead.

Israel is trying a different tack. African migrants being told to leave with a few quid, or go to jail in 3 months. Bound to be more effective than the EU model I would think.

Migrants may be responsible for most of a recent rise in violent crime in Germany, research commissioned by the government suggests.

The study used data from Lower Saxony, a state where more than 90% of the rise was attributed to young male migrants.

The researchers say the findings are not surprising because many migrants who arrived in Germany in recent years are single males aged 14-30.

This group is most likely to commit crime, irrespective of nationality.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-42557828

The researchers said that the best chance of reducing violent crime among migrants was to offer more help with integration through language courses, sport and apprenticeships.Laugh

But it said that many male migrants fell into the 14-30 age category, the most likely to commit violent crime.

The lack of women and families among the migrants also meant that those young men were deprived of a "violence-preventing, civilising force", the study said.

Laugh Bloody women. Never around when you need them to stop us blokes from our killing sprees.

Trump was greeted like a returning Emperor in Poland last year.
All dumbed down in the main stream media of course.
Polish vote in America is very large.
Trump was the first American Pres to attend Three Seas Initiative. Something that is a real threat to the EU as we know it.
