I am watching now on 4seven, not in the slightest bit funny, are the audience all on drugs, or is it just fashion to laugh, or are they paid to?

I agree. Have never taken to this guy in the slightest. A work colleague went to see him live and said it was dire, he didn't laugh once.

Must admit i had never heard of him till about a year ago
when a m8 said he was off to see him,and to be honest not watched a comedian for years
I have two points may be way of mark but true to me

1) I'am of that age now wrong side of 50 that i've heard all the jokes
before,or read them on Bigmo's thread.

2) I'am the wrong side of 50 so don't know what half
the jokes are about in the first place

I think he's funny.
Comedy is definitely the new rock and roll, it's all very much a matter of personal taste.

Foyleswar,I think you are on the Sussex coast.I saw Bernard Manning in Bexhill a few months before he died, you could see he was ill but he could still work an audience.I thought he was great.

To quote Bernard Manning.. He's as funny as woodworm in a cripples crutch!

I saw him at the O2 2 or 3 years ago and I walked out at the interval. I didn't laugh once but I wouldn't mind being a quid behind him though, he is seriously minted so fair play to the bloke.
