At one stage I was getting about 8 or 10 every December, Stan James was always the best one but that ship has long since sailed. Corals sell them for a quid in their shops and you get a free bet for that amount. The Racing Post do good desk diaries, £30 a pop and I have got a couple for two of my brothers as Christmas prezzies.

Regarding the free bet in the diaries, korals do 2 diaries one cardboard bound and one leather-bound, the leather-bound ones are very nice but they do not go to the shopsI always manage to get one thoughonly problem the leather-bound ones this year don't have a free bet in not sure about the others.
They are done by Mel Fordham, I have a picture from Mel in 1982 at Sandown Park those were the days Mel was also a greyhound trainer do you recall his name?

Nice chap Mel, didn't know he was a greyhound trainer either. I used to buy the Mel Fordham diaries to give to my customers but alas, with spiraling costs and revenue dropping I put a stop to that about 5 years ago.
