Christmas at home with him isn't a bad downside tbf. I hope they get him scheduled in ASAP. 
I lost track of the number of times that my knee replacement surgery was postponed.Originally scheduled for early December it went ahead in July.On a waiting list to have the same on my other knee.Been told to expect a years wait.That's probably optimistic.
