I'll never forget how Manson cried on the shoulder of the Duchess after losing that emotional helter-skelter of a Wimbledon Singles final.
" Back then it was quite something to be crazy. Nowadays everyone is crazy " Charles Manson
he may have been a lover but he wasn't no dancer
weirdest thing
In the summer of 1968, at the height of the sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll era, Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson welcomed into his orbit an unknown and peculiar long-haired rocker who sang wildly and talked mystically.
“This is Charlie,” Wilson told friends. “He is the wizard, man. He is a gas.”
Charlie was Charles Manson, who would orchestrate seven murders the next year

Dennis failed in his attempts to get Manson a record deal. The 'family' had moved into Wilson's home and he was forced to flee - but not before they had robbed him of $100k !!
I hadn't realised that Manson never actually killed anybody himself. Only issued "orders" to his underlings. One crazy dude all right
"Rather" would have been a better word to use than "Only".
