I did 35,500 steps walking round Epcot 2 weeks ago in 95 degrees of heat and 80% humidity, needless to say I was f00ked that evening.

8 days about 29 more needed to even scratch the surface imo and if I had to give you one tip it would be get fast passes, pointless travelling half the world to spend half the time in a queue !
Report Mr Spock • October 21, 2017 9:09 PM BST
Expensive now with the £ only worth $1.30, the I4 is as bad as the M25 for 70% of the day but I still like going there as it has great beaches and weather out of Hurricane season.

The new Avatar ride (banshee ride) is a must in Animal Kingdom but the queue is about 3 hours until about 4, we queued for an hour and 20 but was well worth it.
Report akabula • October 21, 2017 9:20 PM BST
3 hours, that's insane.
Googled it and it does look really good.
How long does it last?
Report brassneck • October 21, 2017 10:11 PM BST
its a small world after all.Laugh
Report Mr Spock • October 21, 2017 10:36 PM BST
There are 2 pre shows then the ride irself lasts about 5 mins. You are crouched on a frame almost in a motorcycle position with 3D glasses on facing a huge screen. The effects are the best I've experienced on any 'motion simulator'. This is a must ride.

when he comes back he will be able to tell us if Neil Armstrong really went to the Moon, there is a trip out to the Florida nasa AND Neils Moon suit is there. The Moon buggy that was used(dearest car in the world)was there for a while but I Think NASA lost it and nobody knows where it went.Laugh

I'd love the rides but am loathe to queue for owt. I was in Meteora a couple of weeks ago and almost didn't bother visiting one of the monastaries because of a ten minute queue.
Report Mr Spock • October 22, 2017 12:26 PM BST
Not sure what the point is cooperman, but I suppose you think its amusing.
Report cooperman • October 22, 2017 12:40 PM BST
Didn't intend to upset you Spock, I was just thinking that all those queues wouldn't let you go on many rides after travelling all that way if one ride took an hour and a half. Even less if you queued before 4 for three hours. Main thing is, you thought it was worth it so good luck to you.
Report Mr Spock • October 22, 2017 12:46 PM BST
No problem just didnt understand it (doh), we went round the rest of the park first and left that to last. If it hadn't have had such good reviews I dont think we would have waited so long but it was worth it if only for 5 mins. Disney getting silly now with the crowds, they are spending $5 billion over the next 3 years with a new Star Wars Land, Toy Story Land and Galaxy of the Guardians ride so god knows how crowded it will be then (and how much it will cost).
Report akabula • October 22, 2017 1:12 PM BST
How much did that cost MrS?
Do you pay for each ride separately or is it an entrance fee only?
Report Mr Spock • October 22, 2017 1:26 PM BST
Tickets range from a daily fee (from $99 a day plus tax) to a 14 day unlimited pass which I believe is around £369 in the UK (£20 discount for 3-9 year olds). If you havent been before the 14 day pass is the best one to buy. I just pick and choose as I've been a lot from 1983 onwards. You only pay for food and drink once in.
