Dr Crippen not posted for a while. I was away for 4 weeks and seem to remember him getting sick of the abuse from someone. Anyone know for sure?
Breedingmad banned. Temporary or what?
Studyform and Scandi both stopped posting. My last conversation with SF was amicable btw.

Why would he feel the need to make those posts at 17.23 and 17.24.

Yes akabula, I stopped posting on here (and betting,) after one of my posts was removed for no good reason that I could see.
My main issue is with Betfair, who fail to act over extremely malicious abuse.
Then clamp down heavily on the same person for the merest infraction of their terms and conditions.
They clearly have different rules, that they use for different posters.
I've said all along that people who are connected to Betfair or their employees post on here.
Which explains why some posts are removed so quickly, while others can't be removed at all, except without a lot of effort and complaining.
And then after plenty of time has elapsed, and the mud has been given a chance to stick.
The very act of leaving abuse up for so long before they remove it adds to the insult, as well they know.
It's their forum and their betting exchange.
I doubt that I'll be using either much in future, given the way they treat customers who post.

My posts took up to 7 mins when I first came back.
I miss your posts, Dr Crippen, as they provided a much needed balance to some of the extreme Guardianista viewpoints expressed mainly on the Politics forum.
Having seen, however, some of the messages posted on another site, I felt that you could hardly be blamed for making a dignified retreat.
