Just taken delivery of the powder variety after getting caught up in a villa fire in Spain.

Yes. Here's a tip, most people just let them sit but the powder can settle and pack and get a bit .. stodgy in them so they don't work so well, so every so often, when I remember, I turn it upside down and give it a shake a and few hard pats on the bottom.

Basically I treat it very much like YOUR WIFE but it doesn't squeal my name in response! LaughWhoopsWink

Serious though, the above is recommended by the experts.

WE have loads here in the institute, but they are locked away so we cant get at them Angry....but they have given us fire blankets, I don't know why???? try as we may we cant get them to burn, they should be called not fire blankets imo Crazy.

The blankets are for making smoke signals when you see the wagon train approaching

I think your house will be burnt to the ground before I can get one to you!

One in the kitchen (thought most people would) and one in the car boot. Probably 5 years out of date though.
