I don't watch this programme anymore as I find it hideously tedious and boorish. Isabel Hardman is rather appealing in a "jolly hockey sticks" kind of way but I'll stick to watching Birmingham v Cardiff mesen.

Possibly because people are fed up of panels consisting of people who all share the same point of view. I don't blame em, pretty pointless exercise these days when no one dare dissent against the network line.

if it was half an hour of corbyn bashing the forum would be delighted
as evidenced by the bias in so many posters across the forum
highliting trump as a clown may get boring when hes gone from office, but that he continues as leader of the free world banging out stuff on the internet and bumbling through the week is great viewing , they are all at it though so hignfy has lost some of its charm

As long as you get mileage out of it, keep watching donny. I'm guessing viewing figures will be well down these days, compared to two or three years ago.

half?, not quite ....half of 80 percent voted for brexit
that the tories are making such a pigs ear of getting us out is also funny and the 60% who didnt vote for brexit may as well have a laugh before we leave
may stumbling from crisis to crisis would have been replaced by corbyn if he had formed a government after the election but he didnt so its in mays hands.

Interesting that you seek to skew the figures there donny. Using your method, almost half of 80 per cent voted remain, but you elevate that figure to 60% by adding the 20% who actually didn't vote.

half of 80% of electorate voted brexit ...... .5 x .8 = .4
you were talking about the % of bbc audience alienated , or so i thought
not those that voted remain, that would suffer the same reduction as those that voted brexit
thats not to mention of course those under the age of 19 who can watch hignfy and didnt get a vote, therefore further diluting the % of audience that actually voted for brexit
yeah because those 20% can still watch bbc .....half of 80% of electorate voted brexit ...... .5 x .8 = .4you were talking about the % of bbc audience alienated , or so i thoughtnot those that voted remain, that would suffer the same reduction
I was talking in general terms donny, that's all, no need to guild any lilies really.
Regarding modern comedy, this c+p is from a column a while back, but i think it hits the nail on the head.
The rise of observational comedy has played a huge role. People now expect to go to comedy not to be challenged (and to laugh whilst being challenged, regardless of their political views) but to agree with the comedian. They expect to nod their heads and chuckle, ‘That’s exactly what I think.’ It’s rare now for anyone to go to comedy and think, ‘I disagree with everything that person has said – but it was bloody hilarious.’ And yet the idea of an audience laughing because they agree with you – and only laughing because they agree with you – is dangerous. Because it means you can only ever speak to one kind of audience: the one who votes the same as you. This is toxic.

its a significant percentage, but not near to half
not all those who voted brexit will be so thin skinned either
